Query Related To Sewing Machines

Q. While working on single needle lock stitch machine some times the machine does not stop as soon as the accelerater is released ( pressure taken off from the foot pedal ), resulting in undesireable stitches. This problem was faced while working with local umbrella machines. Can you suggest a remedy?

Ans. This is one of the weak points of the clutch motor machines. Operators are always requested to slot down for the last few stitches. Since machines are connected with clutch motors with V belt. However the under-bed trimmer machines do not have such problems since these are equiped with electro or servo motors. You can fix number of stiches for each direction.
